02.05.24-2015z-This is probably not an answer to your inquiry, but as a matter of fact Hermann Göring had established a "Luftforschungsamt" in Berlin. That had however nothing to do with the Luftwaffe activities. That was a sub-delegation of the Gestapo (for which Göring was at that time the boss), and the object of the Luftforschungsamt's activities was spying on the German population, - to check what the ordinary people thought of the Government, of the politicians, of the running of the war, etc. - I apologize for this somehow off-the-question comment, but it may be worth while to have known about it-vy73-KAL+
