Welcome! The Luftwaffe Archives & Records Reference Group (LWAG) was founded in June 2024 by a loose-knit group of 50 prominent aviation archivists, historians, webmasters and authors, all specializing in the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War. LWAG's membership literally scans the globe, with active participation from more than a dozen countries around the world. We invite all interested parties to join us! The purpose of the LWAG is to further the field of Luftwaffe research by means of sharing information, documenting specific findings, and maintaining an active dialogue on relevant topics between members. The widespread availability of online services worldwide has revolutionized the conduct of historical research in terms of both access and efficiency -- LWAG seeks to exploit these technological advantages to the fullest for the collective benefit of its membership at large. irish casino The group's long-term goal is the development of a comprehensive database cataloging archival holdings around the world; however, at present, LWAG's direct activities are largely confined to constructive discussion and exchange of basic information.
