Luftwaffe Planquadrate map system - 8
From 12 O'Clock High!:
Pierre BABIN ref.map PQ 5951/14 Sat Sep 4, 2024 10:13 81.250.106.170 Hello, Could somebody tell me where the ref.map PQ 5951/14 is located (longitude and latitude) ? I think it's off Brest, in the Atlantic Ocean ... but I'm not sure. From an other source the same geographic spot would be located Q 51521 (probably an other reference map system) Please help me to see this thing clearly ... Many thanks in advance Pierre

Row S is 2 dg up from the bottom column L is 26 dg E. 61 denotes a smaller area just to the E. If you can figureout the ON/OS problem I can figure out an exact pos. for you. bregds SES

Pl.Qu. 54713 4. Pl.Qu. 54771 3 and 4 are both just off the North West corner of Holland while 55284 is a bit further North and 5323 more or less covers the Zueder Zee inside Holland. Soren Flensted

Pl.Qu. 55, 54 and 53 are all in line, north to south, beginning just north of Vilnius/Lithuania to just southwest of Pinsk. Each sector is around 100 km wide. You need to draw up your own map, Voldemar, just like I and a lot of others have done. Steve W.
