The website noted is well described by Col M. (SES) Svejgaard:
"This site deals with Second World War subjects related to: Command and control of Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine units in Denmark. Luftwaffe command and control facilities in all of occupied Europe. Radar stations and signal intelligence units in Denmark related to these organizations. Bunkers related to these facilities and stations." SES also has 2 books which he has written, which he offers for sale: Der Luftnachrichten Dienst in Denmark Vol 1, post "Post Mortem". Der Luftnachrichten Dienst in Denmark Vol 2, Sites, Equipment and Constructions. Regards, Richard |

I am looking for information as what kind of radars and warning equipment did Germans use agains the 15.AAF in the MTO. Where were these located, and what was the procedure of the activation of particular Jagddivision units... Can anyone help with web link to some page related to this topic or by his reply? Thanks a lot Peter |

Marko Jeras I remember seeing Wed Aug 4, 2024 23:37 193.198.138.136 some German document stating delivery of Freya radars to Croatia. I believe that they were located on Adriatic coast. |

M. (SES) Svejgaard ses@pc.dk German Med. radar system Thu Aug 5, 2024 07:28 80.161.14.149 Hi Peter. The Germans used the same radars and signals intel equioment throughout the occupied area. Albeit this is only a partial answer my site www.gyges.dk explains track production and intercept procedures and depict equipment. And you raise an interesting question. The entire German Air Defence C2 is ill described in the litterature. However you may try: The history of US electronic Warfare, A. Price Library of Congress Catalog Card Number 84-70798. Kind regards SES PS I would be most interested to learn about the results of your search |

SES Scotland-Sweeden air service -another angle Tue Sep 21, 2024 10:23 80.161.14.9 The Germans didn't fancy this air traffic and special measures were put into effect in order to interrupt the route over the Skagerak. Nacht Jagd Raum Führer 111 was established at Aalborg-West in May 1943 with operational control of radar stations in Northern Denmark and South Norway. Since the Würzburg Reise - used for nightfighter control - had insufficient range to cover the area a number of Freya-Fahrstuhl radars were provided to the GCI sites in order to measure the height of the target. Bf 109 were stationed at Aalb-West and used at night in order to intercept the Mossies. http://www.gyges.dk/photogallery/3 http://www.gyges.dk/Himmelbett.htm bregds SES |

SES Jägergradnetz/Planquadrant Sun Sep 26, 2024 12:57 80.161.14.9 I've noted some problems and long discussions on subject matter. I've uploaded a number items related to WM and WL reporting grids. www.gyges.dk/reporting_grids.htm One is a manual converter which will help you convert positions in subject grids. Kindly note that the Jägergradnetz was not introduced until 1 MAY 1943 until that time the Luftwaffe used the old Meldenetz. Also be aware the aircraft positions from Kriegsmarine units a shore and a float migt be in the MQK system. This is one of the more challenging issues for us researchers. bregds SES |
