Hello,

I'm sorry for having started a discussion that my bad knowledge of the English language doesn't allow me to finish... law is something very technical... and it would be very difficult to explain stuff like that even in my mother language...

The possession of a photo doesn't mean that you have the copyright on it... and a copyright must be registred... and we also got to distinguish between economical and moral rights...

Beside that if the two people involved are living in different countries... and the photo was shot in a third country... things would get even more complicate... and you would have to be prepared to make a lawyer rich!heheh

Sorry for starting this fearfull discussion...

I understand that it must be very hard for somebody that payed a photo 389Euro to admit that EVERYBODY may pubblish it... who didn't capture that great Me110 with skull'n crossed bones photo on ebay??... (some of the Ebay seller scans their photos at really high-res and without any signs that decrese its quality)...

I'm not a lawyer... my brother yes... many of my best friends are lawyers... they all agree that copyright on photos is a very tricky field... a mined field...
