Handbook for the (re)search of Luftwaffe personnel.
From time to time I receive questions from fellow researchers how to this and what does that mean. Or can you help with...... Of course if I can I will answer the question and if it is necessary to translate some German text into English, no problem. It only will take some time. But it can be done.
Last week I received some letters send by our good friend Robert Reid to Richard T. Eger. He was lost in the jungle of webpages in the German language and asked for help. After reading his cry for help I decided to compose a "Handbook for the (re)search for German personnel". It contains information about where to find what and what is the best way to get it. I also have included a story about time differences between Germany and Britain and a story of Andreas Brekken about the German gridsystem. At http://lwag.org/reference/HrLp001d.pdf you will find now the fifth edition (19 Sept. 2024) of this handbook. For being able to read it you need a Acrobat Reader. If you feel that you can give a contribution to it or have questions about it, feel free to mail me. My e-mail is j.woortman1@chello.nl. I am open to further ideas.
