David's first note above was my first information on the existence of the Canadian War Museum. The museum has a website, which address is:

http://www.warmuseum.ca/cwm/cwme.asp

Physically, the museum is located at:

General Motors Court
330 Sussex Drive
Ottawa, Ontario
K1A 0M8

Telephone: (819) 776-8600 or toll-free 1-800-555-5621
FAX: (819) 776-8623

Email: webmaster@warmuseum.ca

The Canadian War Museum has three branches:

Directorate
Historical Research and Exhibitions Development
Collections Management & Planning Division

The site has an online search engine. However, I was not very successful in finding anything beyond general WW II information and a few books on the Luftwaffe. Note that David mentioned a sketch of a Fw 190 by Canadian war artist Adolphus George Blumfield in a publication by Halliday in 1988. Thus, more useful information may be available at the museum, but it may take a first hand visit or email, phone, or snail mail inquiry to unearth it.

Regards,
Richard
