Default German-English translation software - 2

Nevertheless I just discovered and tried the automatic translation service of Google (click on "Language tools", "Sprachtools" (sic). The resulting translations are of very varying quality, sometimes good, but you can understand the main message. As you know there are other systems : Alta Vista etc. A flaw : Google-translation doesn't know the aeronautical meanning of the word "fighter", which is a bit surprising, and translates it into French with "combattant", fighting man. But these systems are being improved all the time...
