Default Permanence of Inkjet Prints & Choosing a Printer

I am sure that many of us print off historic articles and photos on inkjet printers, assuming that the prints will last "forever". This is not necessarily so. There is a research outfit, Wilhelm Imaging Research, that actually compares the print longevity of prints produced with different inks on different printers and on different papers. The focus of the research appears to be in regard to printing photos. The site address for this company is:

http://www.wilhelmresearch.com/

The site contains many articles on the subject and there is a book, too, that can be obtained. In addition, I found the Jan. 2024 PCWorld Review of 16 Photo Inkjet Printers to be of great value in today's bewildering world of offerings.

Regards,
Richard
