Ofw. Seigfried "Wumm" Schnell 4/JG2

Hi everybody, Still chasing !!! Can anyone supply information on the sorties flown by 4/JG2 also 1(J)/LG2 or 3(J)LG2 around lunchtime on 02/09/1940.

The above pilot claimed a Hurricane kill on that date but no time or location given, so I'm trying to clarify this. All contributions gratefully received.

Hi Bill,

Ofw. Siegfried Schnell of 4./J.G. 2 claimed a Hurricane at 18:00 on 2 September 1940, according to a victory list I have. The source for the victory list is the work of Jochen Prien.
