Hello,
Last year I sent a letter to RAAF Historical Records to see if they had any Luftwaffe-related holdings. I recieved a reply very quickly, but it was not what I had hoped. RAAF Historical Records doesn't hold any Luftwaffe documents, but it does sell Unit History Records of RAAF Squadrons on 16mm microfilm, at a cost of A$34.60 per roll (ca. US$17, this price may have risen since). Address is: RAAF Historical Records CP4-1-WS2 Department of Defence Canberra, ACT, 2600 AUSTRALIA Cheers, Andrew A. |

Hi Andrew,
I know the chaps at RAAF Historical quite well and have been through some of the stuff they hold. There is nothing German there at all. You can gain some cross references to action from unit diaries but not much else. There is very little Luftwaffe information in the National Archives either. Basically the files that are Luftwaffe related have to do with missiles, specifically the X-4. There is some information on the V2 but that is Wehrmacht related and not related to this forum.
