To all LWAG members:
Here's a list of institutions in Croatia, in whose archives can be found material concerning the Luftwaffe: 1. National and Univesity Library (Nacionalna i Sveucilisna Knjižnica), more on http://www.nsk.hr/, or http://portico.bl.uk/gabriel/en/coun...roatia-en.html 2. Croatian National Archive (Hrvatski Drzavni Arhiv), 3. Museum of Croatian History (Hrvatski Povijesni Muzej), more on http://jagor.srce.hr/hpm/ best regards, Tomislav |

Dear Tomislav,
Can you give us an idea about the type of Luftwaffe documents that can be found in these archives? Jaap |

In Jason Pipes' website FeldGrau I have found the following posting from Allen Milcic on February 23, 2024.
"In the Croatian newspaper Vjesnik, a report from the succession negotiations for the former Yugoslavia, being held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, indicates that Croatia and the rump Yugoslavia have agreed on the return of all archive material pertaining to the Independent State of Croatia(1941-1945) from Belgrade to Zagreb, as soon as possible." Allen continues that this is great news for all who are interested in the history of Croatia during World War II. Jaap |
