The following message originally appeared under the topic "Luftwaffe Pilot Remains" on the "Archives in Germany: General Information" forum. However, as it references recovered aircraft in Russia and one located in the Ukraine, I thought I would post it here, too.

You are right! There are a lot of luftwaffe pilots lies in their planes in russian ground. My interest is restoring Luftwaffe planes. Now I restore BF-109F4\Z W\nr7504 Fw.Rudolf Berg 7\JG3 who is MIA. Mr. Rudolf Berg was killed in air and he was buried as unknown near Novgorod. I'd like to tell information about his destiny to Germany. Next year I am going to get Bf-109G6 fron it's crash site in Ukraine. I'll give you more information about killed pilot. Andrew Usov.
