Default RAFIGER's little Il-2 & Forgotten Battles Page, by Ralf Manfred Jung

This appears to be mainly an artwork site, but it does contain some historical information. The inclusion of "Il-2" in the website title is misleading, as there appears to be no reference to this aircraft on the site. The author has, at points, borrowed from the material of others. The address of the site is:

http://rafiger.de/welcome.html

Each of the following sections contains a minor amount of historical information, concentrating mainly on drawings, and includes references:

The Fw 190 A8 "Sturmböcke" of JG 3 "Udet" 1944

Information about the Fw 190 A8 of the Herdla Squad of JG 5 "Eismeer"

Focke Wulf 190 F8 "Weisse 1" Jagdgeschwader 5 "Eismeer" 1944-1945 - Includes a link to the "White 1" restoration site.

Dora's of Jagdverband 44 - History of the Galland Circus

JG 301 Reichsverteidigung - The fighter during the last days of the Reich

Schlachtgeschwader - Luftwaffe over Czech Territory

Jagdgeschwader 54 "Grünherz - Fighters

The next two sections contain literature references:

Focke-Wulf Fw-109 - Literature - Books

Messerschmitt Bf-109 - Literature - Books

The next section contains fairly detailed information on the Bf 109 variants. The section is only in German.

Technical Data to the Bf-109 Series

Finally, an original German document in downloadable .pdf form:

The Shooting Guide (German only) by Hannes Trautloft

Regards,
Richard
