From 12 O'Clock High!:

were can I get Evidence in Camera

Can anybody tell me where I can get issues of Evidence in Camera which was issued by the Air Ministry during the Second World War. I am particularly interested in the following:-
Vol 2 Numbers 2, 5, 6, & 13
Vol 3 Numbers 1, 3, 4,5, 7, 8 & 13
Vol 4 Numbers 4, 8 & 12
Vol 5 Numbers 1, 5, 6,& 7
Vol 6 Numbers 4, 6, 7, 9 & 11
Vol 7 Numbers 4, & 10

Any condition considered.

These books were issued in a blue cover with artwork, normally of aircraft in action. The contents were photographs of targets before and after attacks and various reconnaisance photos.

Regards
David

There are loads (all?) of these on file at the Public Record Office in London.

Hi Nick

Yes I have seen them at the PRO & would like to have copies of some of the Photos. The PRO can make copies for about £11-00 each, which would come to a lot if I had them all done! I did manage to buy eight issues a year ago, which worked out a lot cheaper, but I have had no luck since. So any help in finding the ones I have listed would be much appreciated.

Regards
David

Default Evidence in Camera

I have quite a few of these, not sure what issues as they are at my parents at the moment, but quite a number anyway. They came from my late grand father who was an aircraft engineer in the war. I have no plans to sell these however i am planning to scan all copies and post them on my website. If any one is interested i will happily e-mail them when i start copying them.

Default Online copies

I have started creating on-line copies of the Evidence In Camera documents I have.

Go to the following link, documents that are currently on-line are highlighted in green, if you are interested in any of the documents in yellow e-mail me and I will see about adding them.

Bear in mind that it takes quite a long time for me to add these documents, so there aren't that many on there at the moment.
