LLG1 May 43 Gael France
Wed Dec 13 11:25:18 2024

Hello,

For the creation of the museum to remember airfield of Gael in Brittany - France, I research information concerning the LLG1, following to the month of May 1943 to Gael.
According to a report of a resistant present on the camp to this period and whose result was transmitted to London,
60 bomber Dornier, 40 transportation of troop Junkers 52 and a hundred of gliders, as well as 550 men of aviation and the infantry of the air park there.
According to German archives documents, I find well the LLG1 coming from Hildesheim to Gael and to Lezignan to the month of May 43.
TO Lezignan I find well my Dornier, as well as Dfs 230, but I do not find the unit of troop transportation equipped of 40 Ju 52 ? to what unit belongs Ju 52 ?
I research also codes and emblems of indentification of machines associated to the LLG1.

Thank you for your assistance.
