Al,

Ju 88 M2+CK from 2./Kü.Fl.Gr. 106 was shot down in the night of 5/6 May 1941 by a Boulton Paul Defiant of 141 Sqn. and crashed in the sea near Lennoxtown Stirling (north of Glasgow). The observer and Staffelkapitän Hptm Gerd Hansmann and the pilot Oblt Werner Coenen were killed. WO Ofw Ernst Langanki and Ag Fw Willi Müller, Pow. (Information Ab Jansen's book about Schiphol-Amsterdam)

Contact for a file about Kü.Fl.Gr. 106 in May 1941 the Bundesarchiv at Freiburg Germany.
2./Kü.Fl.Gr. 106 became later part of KG 6. It's possible that information about the unit can be found in RL 10/564 at the BAMA in Freiburg. The file contains information about K.G.6.(Ju 88). Aufstellung Sept. Okt. 1942 in Frankreich unter Lfl.3.

Good luck,

Jaap
