Default 550 Squadron, Killingholme - Operations

My husbands Uncle was a navigator with the Lancaster bomber 550 squadron based in Killingholme. He was a Canadian living in London at the time but moved back to Canada after the war. Before he died he emailed me each day relating his experiences which were extremely humbling to say the least. I went to the National Archives and found the operations records from 12th December 1944 through to VE day, typed them out and sent them to him which contained the details of his crew and the days events.

If anyone is interested, I would be happy to post them on the web site as it may contain details that some of you are looking for. If the moderator thinks that would be OK?

best wishes
Sheri
