Default Genealogy Research

Greetings from Australia.
I am attempting to trace possible German ancestors who have the surname of OEHM. There are two on this site , Willie OEHM, JG 26, shot down over the English Channel 8/8/1940. The 2nd,Hans Deiter OEHM shot down on 22/8/44 in a FW 190-A7, call sign Red 6, JG 300.

It is possible that we are related. I would like to contact any person who has information on these 2 Pilots. I spent my working life as a commercial Pilot in Australia and SE Asia.

My ancestor emigrated to Australia in 1847, he was born in Konigsberg in 1796 and served as a 2nd Leutnant in the Batle of Waterloo. There are some 700 descendants of the family in Australia. All information gratefully received.
