Wesendorf A/F
I have some US photo recce imagey of Wesendorf A/F dated 1945, does anyone have any information on this airfield.

Dear Mick,
Quoting in German from Ries' and Dierich's Fliegerhorste und Einsatzhäfen der Luftwaffe: "Wesendorf/Nd.Sachs, 33 km N Braunschweig; Friedensstandort, Fliegerhorst, Grasnarbe mit befestigtem Hallenvorfeld; ab 1943 von Arado als Industriehafen mitgenutzt. (52 34 30 N - 10 31 00 O)" The book also shows a layout drawing of the airfield. Regards, Richard
