Oberleutnant Wilhelm Hasselbach?? Information?

Thanks for the info. All I know is he must have been something of a hero, as part of the collection includes a damascus bladed Goering award dagger named to him. While this probably does not narrow down the common name as you mention, it may limit the possibilities to a few people.
