Hi Chris,
Sorry about my previous posting, I hadn't realised that you'd included the date in this posting. To answer your other question, in July 1944 Jagdgruppe Ost had a real variety of aircraft on strength, including 57 Bf 109s and 51 FW 190s. The Gruppe had most Bf 109 and FW 190 variants on strength, and used both aircraft types on missions. Cheers, Andrew A.
