AFHRA List of Captured German Documents Circulated by ADI(K) Air Ministry

to expand on what has been written above, here is a summary to exactly what is held:

The document lists are reproduced on AFHRA microfilm roll number A5406, having been filmed from the original folders.

Frames 582-690 - decimal 512.619B-40 - ADI(K) Documents lists 1-14, 1944

Frames 691-1227- decimal 512.619B-41 - ADI(K) Documents Lists 1-62, 1945 (missing 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 29, 32)*

Frames 1228-1401 - decimal 512.619B-42 - ADI(K) Documents Lists 63-166, 1945 (missing all of 63-147, 151, 157, 158, 159, and 165)

Frames 1402-1691 - decimal 512.619B-43 - ADI(K) Documents Lists 167-201, 1946

Frame 1692 - index to entire film

* there appears to never have been 1945 reports 1-14. Nr. 14/1944 was followed by 15/1945 (the latter covering the period 20/12/44 to 16/01/45), and there is nothing between 1-14 for 1945 on the microfilm

So, as can be seen, there was a total of 201 lists that were issued. Of this total 91 lists, or just under half, are missing from the AFHRA collection and are not on the microfilm.

So it seems that a number of the lists (nos. 74-120) made in the period Aug-Oct 1945 may be missing from the collections at both TNA and AFHRA...
