According to Kannapin's book;

52090 (?) Luftdienst-Kdo. Rumänien, (10) 29.7.1944 Fl.Zielstaff. 72

What that means is that the number was assigned to the above LD kommando from an unknown point in time until spring or early summer of 1944 when it was reassigned to Fl.ZielSt. 72, probably due to the unit being renamed.

These units were assigned to do rear echelon odd jobs, such as target towing.

Hello unknown Lw.Flieger,

Early february 1944 Luftdienstkommando 2/III was renamed in Fliegerzielstaffel 4. Perhaps this does fit in your picture?
Would appreciate if you have any more details about Ld.Kdo. 2/III or Fl.Zielst.4
As non combat units, their histories are difficult to reconstruct.

According to Kannapin, Fp Nr 12 671 was assigned to "Militär-Befehlshaber Belgien-Nordfrankreich" in November 1942.

I have Kannapin's three volume set on Fp Nrs so if there are any others you need information on, please let me know.
