Andreas Brekken Foul up during repaint of WNr? Mon Sep 3 08:17:23 2024 Hi, I haven't seen the airframe, and thus cannot comment on how it has been identified as WNr 14058. However, 6./JG 5 lost WNr 14658, piloted by Edmund Krischkovski (I will check his NVM later to see if it lines up with the loss data taken from the GQM report) on March 27, 1943. This was indeed a Bf 109G-2, shot down in combat with P-39's according to what I have on this loss. Krischkovski later died in captivity. Case closed? Regards, Andreas Brekken |
